I am going to brine it. Which means I need to get thine booty to the grocery store tomorrow for bird buying, not to mention everything else.
So the next step is to give a good look at these brining recipes and go from there.

I think that it can be very true. I think part of the catch is that Ms Mead doesn't say: And you will see those changes in your lifetime.

been kinda bummed for a few...and a newer nondub friend said i should go to church with him and his wife today...he called me last night about it....so it was not far and i knew nothing about it...but my friend and i are a lot alike....so showed up...it rocked!!
!...everybody had jeans on including the preacher with his shirt untucked...he was lively and funny and real....there were some skits that screamed district convention to me but they were way funnier and better acted....and even though i totally tuned out to most of the sermon part and all the jesus stuff.........the band freakin rocked!...the music was incredible!....just great talent....i told my buddy we should go tell the preacher that not only did he get a newbie in the door...but that it was someone who had never been to church in his entire life!!!.
i went just for social reasons........and there are prob great babe opportunities there....lol.....but it was a good morning and we went to lunch.....it was a great day!!
The first time going to church after exiting the dubs is a bit surreal. I remember I hit a Catholic church and stayed completely in the back, only because I felt so weird about being in the home of the harlot
After awhile though I tried different places and have found my place at the UU church.

every year i like to try something a little different, but tend to go back to my favorite...whats yours?.
i use 1/2 pepperidge farm seasoned bread crumbs and 1/2 corn bread and add the following".
2 onions chopped and at least 5 stalks celery chopped sauteed in a cup of butter.

hmmmm i've never smoked a bird....... what goes into that i wonder? that could be interesting
r. yah, it's a mess alright, it was a bit wild. I had read about it in my Martha Stewart mag the first year and thought, hm, this is neat. Then I tried it again last year and in all, the birds were good. But yah, if it's not going to make a difference...well why bother?

Okkkkkay. What if I'm just roasting? I have made very few birds in my short life and have little experience in the ways of turkey roasting.
